inshore

Inshore fishing consists of fishing the backwaters, creeks, waterways, and bays inside the inlets and barrier islands along the coast. The marsh system is a beautiful place to target fish. Your guide has spent years learning the marsh system and knows the area very well. Bald head island, Oak Island, Wrightsville Beach, and Topsail island are among the many places that we fish inshore. There are excellent opportunities to fish inshore every month and season of the year.

Nearshore fishing encompasses ocean waters off the beach and provides excellent opportunity for amazing fishing. Inlets, artificial reefs, live bottom and ledges are the areas we frequent when targeting fish nearshore. During the summer, we can target just about everything nearshore from Redfish and Flounder to Tarpon.  The Fall provides an excellent opportunity for False Albacore(Albies),  Bull Red Drum, Spanish and King Mackerel, Trout, Tarpon and Sharks.  Winter fishing nearshore can be great tautog and Sheepshead fishing. Spring kicks off the season and really allows us to target just about everything nearshore.
